Work Is Never Done...

WARNING: This song has very little to do with the Alice universe, however it´s another chance to spill some blood...

As I flipped through the pages of a  Lady Gaga dedicated magazine this afternoon, this next song came to mind. Some of the lyrics are referring to a group of girls mentioned in "The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell" nicknamed The Slashers. They carved the words "Marilyn Manson" in their chests and a picture of them was included in the Lest We Forget Booklet. It seemed that self-mutilation is an alarming matter, but if you do it to please someone then I guess it has a different meaning. We could even consider it as an improvised tattoo.

Manson was also mocking the music industry, specially My Chemical Romance because it was believed that the band was copycatting the notorious shock rocker. The feud faded away, though.

Nevertheless, these new generations think they got all figured out generating controversy. But the truth is there can only be one Marilyn Manson, as well Lady Gaga. So let´s end the comparisons just for one day.

"Mutilation's the most sincere form of flattery, if you wanna be me, stand in line like the rest, if you know what I mean..."

Now let´s go back to another mutilation, the beheading of the queen...

he's already stated MITMSFOF is not about my chemical romance even though people think it is. its about Trent Reznor; i.e. Starfuckers, you think that i thought all the thoughts that i thought you..don't you. who do you think he's talking aobut when he says "i sell my shadow to those who are standing in it?" thats because manson was always in trents shadow for so long and trent was "selling" it. you have less to say, i play this better than you is an answer back to nin's you know what you are? which was an answer back to the bright young things. the fact that TR wastes a track on his album about manson. and he plays the song rivalry better than him.
